Real Musical Skills

Elody is an educational music-learning app for kids ages 4–8, featuring guided learning games perfect for preschool and kindergarten, and fully appropriate for toddler learning needs.

Through smart, engaging activities, it introduces and nurtures essential musical skills—pitch awareness, rhythm recognition, melodic direction, harmonic awareness, interval understanding, and early notation—while also supporting early learning and focus, all without ads or distractions.

These early musical foundations help children feel prepared when they begin piano or other instrument lessons, leading to more successful — and more joyful — music-learning experiences.

Grounded in the first two years of solfège, Elody’s sequenced learning games for kids foster a lifelong love of music and strengthen foundational musical understanding through a scaffolded, game-based learning experience.

This structured pedagogical approach supports not only musical learning but also broad early cognitive abilities—such as attention, auditory processing, and working memory—skills that help children learn more effectively across different areas as they grow.

From Parents for Parents

We started Elody as parents, creating the music learning app for kids we wished we’d found—rooted in a proven early-learning approach and designed to be smart, calm, and truly supportive of young learners.

We built it first for our own children: a collection of gentle, story-driven learning games with clear, thoughtful design—like a favorite storybook, but with real educational value. Now we’re sharing it.

“With Elody, a child enters a magical world where visual art meets music through engaging musical elements. Thoughtfully designed educational games develop fundamental skills—including rhythm, relative pitch, early notation, and tonality. This builds strong early musicianship and an inspiring beginning to a child’s musical journey and overall development.”

“Elody is now part of our daily screen time 😊Vera loves cute characters and enjoys the variety of beautiful locations. I can really hear how her pitch and rhythm are improving. The melodies used in the app are lovely, and the activities are short — perfect for her attention span. Honestly, I haven’t found another kids’ music app that’s this thoughtfully designed.”

“My son loves Elody! It makes practice feel like a game, but there’s clearly strong methodology behind it. He’s not a beginner, so I appreciate how it sharpens his ear and timing — I feel he’s getting quicker at spotting rhythm patterns and staying on the beat. The design is outstanding, and the art feels truly high-quality. No ads, which I really appreciate.”
